For the academic year 2008/2009 the Ministry of University and Research has provided for the activation of a new four-year (Old System) closed number for the Degree Programme in Science of Primary Education.
The Ministerial Decree 18 June 2008 [http://www.miur.it/0006Menu_C/0012Docume/0015Atti_M/7154Decret_cf2.htm] has set the exam for admission to the degree programme for September 10 2008. The public notice for the admission is available on this site.
Unlike the 2008 Financial Law provision, art. 6 of the Decree Law nr. 137 of 09.01.2008 presenting “Urgent provisions pertaining to university education” restores the qualifying value of the Degree Programme in Science of Primary Education. This decree, if converted into Law, will confirm the provision contained in the decree.
Active four-year degree programme: offered to those who intend to teach in the primary and infant school: its objective is the education of a teaching figure with knowledge pertaining to infancy and its process of growth and development. The degree programme is open to students who intend to register for the first year or are passing through, transferring or at their second degree.
