Research dimension

Know more about the research opportunities offered by Mirees programme

One of the main characteristics of Mirees programme is to encourage students to improve their research and data processing skills by collecting essential sources for their thesis work in the geo-political field as well as in the selected disciplinary field. This is one of the main task of their mobility experience in one of the Partner Universities during the 3rd semester. In other words, students are expected to take benefit from their mobility by deepening their knowledge while visiting their geopolitical area of specialization, and by doing fieldwork research. Moreover, in order to strengthen the research dimension, a compulsory methodological seminar is foreseen during the second year (around March), when students are asked to present a work-in-progress of their thesis research to a Commission of Mirees professors.
The 4th semester, when no teaching activity is scheduled, is completely devoted to the thesis writing and implementation.
