On March 6, between 2.30 and 4.30pm (Seminar Room, piazza Scaravilli 2), Davide Dragone will hold a lecture on "Giving an academic talk".
This two-hour meeting will provide guidelines for giving an academic talk.
We will speak of:
• the structure of typical academic presentations
• what to do and what to avoid during a presentation
• preparing the slides
• managing questions from the audience
• managing presentation time
• how to get prepared before presenting
Students planning to present in front of an audience are warmly invited to attend.
