Application, Admission and Enrolment (Applicants with an Italian Bachelor's Degree)

This page describes the application and admission processes for Applicants with an Italian Bachelor's Degree

If the applicant is a non-European Union citizen they may need a student visa to enroll. Please refer to this page for further details.

In order to be enrolled in the Master's Program, you should complete two steps:

1. CONFIRMATION OF ELIGIBILITY - In this step, HBR Master Degree Board confirms the applicant's eligibility to enrol. This is a preliminary application submission and is not mandatory, but is useful if you are not sure whether you satisfy the admission requirements of the program.

2. ENROLLMENT AT UNIBO - In this step, the applicant submits the application to enroll in the Master’s Program at the University of Bologna (UNIBO).

1. Confirmation of Eligibility

Applicants to the HBR Master's Program must meet basic eligibility requirements. The applicant can submit their curriculum vitae (CV) at any time to HBR  Board for a preliminary review of their qualifications. This step is not compulsory and does not substitute the standard enrolment procedure at UNIBO. This step is useful for Italian students who do not have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Bologna, since it allows them to have a preliminary evaluation of their educational background to determine their eligibility to be accepted into the Master's Program.

The confirmation of eligibility application must include:

  • Your curriculum vitae
  • Your academic curriculum/transcript from the university where you earned the Bachelor’s Degree
  • Documents/certificates stating your knowledge of technical English.

Note: Intermediate level of English language is required to enroll in the HBR curriculum. Applicants should have a B2 certificate or equivalent (e.g. TOEFL IbT with a minimum score of 64; IELTS with a minimum score of 4; other equivalent certificates).

You can submit your application following the instructions in the form

You must create a ZIP file containing all the documents above. This file must be named according to the following template: YOURSURNAME_AppForm.zip and submitted together with the Preliminary Application Form by email to:

ernesto.antonini@unibo.it

You will receive by e-mail a confirmation of your eligibility within 3 weeks. If your application is positively evaluated, you can start the enrollment procedure (see below).
