New annual contest to award two final dissertations on nautical tourism

Sea-Ways is announcing a new annual contest to award two final dissertations on nautical Tourism in order to stimulate the territory development and its integration with the harbours partnering with the company, with the aim of further expanding the range of services offered to its clients.

For the Bachelor's Degree dissertation: “Italy Discovery” Prize

The topic of the dissertation must be the development of touristic itineraries, which will have to include cultural, gastronomic and natural activities. Starting from one of the harbours (a list is contained in Annex A), the routes will allow the discovery of the territory and its excellences with a particular focus on integrating different realities, accompanying the tourist in a planned and structured way.

For Master Degree dissertation: “Italy Seen from the Sea” Prize

Compared to the topic developed in the Bachelor degree, in this case the focus will be on integrating the itinerary development with an in-depth study and a configuration of the "nautical tourist" of a specific region/country. Thus, the design of these itineraries has to be identified as a response to this specific kind of tourist’s needs or could even lead to the creation of a unexpressed need.
