Preparing the study plan

Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.

What is a study plan?

The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.

Who can present a study plan?

A study plan can be presented by properly enrolled students who have paid their tuition fees and, in the case of international students, who hold a valid residence permit.

When to present your study plan

It is possible to submit and modify the Study Plan during two periods of the academic year.

For the 2025/26 academic year, the study plan can be submitted:

  • from 6 October to 28 November 2025

  • from 7 January to 10 April 2026

Students who submit their study plan by 28 November may modify it for the current academic year during the following submission period.

Once the deadlines have passed, the last submitted Study Plan will be considered valid and no further changes can be made. The completed plan will be visible immediately after submission online in the AlmaEsami profile.

You may sit an exam only if the course has been included in your study plan and if classes have ended.

Students who intend to graduate in the March 2026 graduation session, therefore within the 2024/25 academic year, can no longer submit their study plan or modify previously selected courses.

Those who proceed with the payment of the first instalment for the new academic year and modify their study plan will in no case be able to apply for graduation in March 2026.

Students enrolled in years following the first who intend to modify a course belonging to previous academic years may not take or record the modified exam until the end of classes of the current year.
