CLABE Special Programmes - Unibo for Refugees

13 extra positions have been reserved to special programmes for the a.y. 2024/25 and they are available as follows:

  • 3 for displaced students or refugees (or applicants) in Italy
  • for Afghan female student residing in Afghanistan, or domiciled in third countries in order to obtain a visa
  • 5 for Iranian female student residing in Iran

BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS - BOLOGNA TRACK

Corso di Laurea in Business and Economics (CLABE) is a restricted-access programme: this means that you will have to be selected to take part in it. For 2024/2025 academic year there will be 180 places available in the Bologna track and 60 places available in the Buenos Aires track

The two tracks present the same course structure, but are ruled by standing-alone calls of admission. This means that you can choose to either be a Clabe Bologna track student or a Clabe BA student.

The main difference between the two degree courses is that the Clabe BA students are going to attend their first year classes in the UniBo campus in Buenos Aires while the Clabe students  in the campus of Bologna.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES

AVAILABLE PLACES

Clabe has a limited number of available positions:
- Eu and assimilated applicants: 135
- Non-Eu applicants: 32
- Special Unibo programmes: 3 +10

1. INTAKES AND DEADLINES 

I intake (Eu and assimilated AND Non-Eu): from February 5 to April 29, 2024 (1 p.m cet)

- 50 available positions for EU and assimilated

- 32  available positions for non EU

- 3+10 available positions only for Special Unibo Programmes

University of Bologna must receive SAT official score report within April 29, 2024

II intake (Eu and  assimilated only): from May 6  to July 1, 2024
- 85 available positions 

University of Bologna must receive SAT official score report within July 1, 2024

1.  SAT

SAT stands for "Scholastic Assessment Test" and it is managed by College Board

What you can do NOW is to get prepared and take the SAT test, which is necessary to apply to CLABE - Bologna Track.

 2.  Where and when to take the SAT

Look at the website of the College Board and get the news about where and when to take the SAT test;

 3.  How to submit your SAT score

- Before sitting the test or, once you have taken the test, send your score to the University of Bologna (University code 6993)

- read the Call for Application in order to complete all the steps required.

 Notice that scores take at least 3 weeks to be received.  

TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION:

1) REGISTRATION TO THE SELECTION PROCESS

- Upload all requested documents to this page 

- pay the registration fee (20 euro).         
- All applicants shall upload a valid copy of Passport or ID

2) PERFORMANCE RANKING AND ADDITIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITY (OFA)


Candidates will be able to access the final ranking of admitted applicants through the Studenti Online page.   
Depending on performance outcomes, admitted applicants may be assigned compulsory Additional Learning Activities (OFA)Candidates will have to attend the crash course in Mathematics at the beginning of the academic year, whenever they do not achieve the following results: 

< 500/800 in the math section of the SAT; 


The final exam of the Mathematics course must be passed within March 31, 2025 in order to fill the gap.

Tuition Fee Amounts

Tuition fees are calculated based on the 2023 ISEE value with special subsidies in relation to the right to higher education. First year students with an ISEE value up to a specific threshold benefit from full exemption; the relevant ISEE threshold will be released by the end of May 2023. Above this limit, tuition fees are calculated progressively.

The ISEE value must be submitted, even if you have not enrolled in the Degree Programme, by 30 October 2023, at 6:00pm (or by 15 November 2023, at 6:00pm, paying a €100 penalty) accessing ER-GO Online Services, alternatively you will have to pay the full amount.

If you are an international student, verify how your tuition fees will be calculated according to your country of origin and the country where your family has income and assets.

Matriculation

After you have checked that all the admission requirements have been met, you can enrol on  Studenti Online:

  1. fill in the application for matriculation with the required information and attach a passport photo in digital format;
  2. pay the first instalment of your tuition fees;
  3. follow the instructions to complete the procedure which you will find on Studenti Online according to your profile.
