In the first year, students are introduced to the fundamental theories of economics and mathematics, with a particular focus on business economics, in addition to language and IT studies. In the second year, students can choose between a more general, management-oriented curriculum, and a hospitality-oriented curriculum specifically focused on certain key subjects for hospitality and tourism, with a view to improving both theoretical and practical learning. Then, in the third year, the management-oriented curriculum delves into finance and accounting, legal and managerial subjects. The hospitality-oriented curriculum, on the other hand, focuses on the management of tourist destinations and on the ethics and sustainable development of the tourism industry.
The programme is distinguished by the numerous optional course modules and internships on offer that enhance the curriculum and are aimed at preparing students for the world of work.
In the first two years, the contents of the English language curriculum are very similar to the Italian one, please refer to the description given above, but with a more international character. This curriculum aims to provide professional competences that can be used nationally as well as internationally, as experts in administration, management and business consulting. These competences can be used in businesses in all sectors and of all sizes, working on national and international markets. Furthermore, particularly in the third year, the programme offers students the possibility to develop skills in the increasingly current areas of sustainable development and digital innovation.
The overall objective of this curriculum is to provide students with the knowledge and tools required to fully understand the main administrative, strategic and operational aspects of business management within the field of sustainability and innovation.
