Our degree program offers two kinds of seminars:

  • seminars within the individual courses, dedicated to a precise topic that explores the subject in depth
  • degree course seminars (i.e. organized for all FINMA students each year)

Seminars 2022/2023

The individual courses within which external guests held seminars in 2022/2023 were:

  • Organization and Leadership: seminar on Team Work held by Prof. Katrine Biering Sonnenschein from the BI Norwegian Business School
  • Business Administration and Accounting

The seminars for all FINMA students were:

  • “Sustainability: the contributions companies can make” held by Prof. Mara Del Baldo from the University of Urbino during the Welcome Week
  • Trends and opportunities in corporate finance and service sector” held by Anna Del Prete from Camera di Commercio during the Welcome Week
  • the module “Future leaders: soft skills for agile thinkers in a complex world” held by Dr Federica Salvatori and Dr Tim Goudriaan

    During this module, composed of three seminars, some of the different interactive activities the students had the opportunity to experience were:

    • the use of design thinking to go from the idea of ​​a product (wallet/wallet) to its realization/prototype
    • understand how to listen to others and how to emphasize (through exercises in pairs and in circles)
