Overview

The programme’s three curricula (Classical, Modern, European Literary Cultures) are inspired by an interdisciplinary model in which literary, historical and linguistic studies complement each other and interact with other disciplines in the humanities and with new technologies, offering students the opportunity to personalise their pathway.

The Classical Curriculum focuses on the languages, culture and history of Greek and Latin antiquity; the Modern Curriculum on the period from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age (linguistics, literature, history, art); the European Literary Cultures Curriculum covers the main areas of European culture (with a focus on the French language area).

The programme offers the opportunity to spend part of your university studies abroad through the international mobility schemes Erasmus+ (for European countries) and Overseas (for non-European countries). There are also two double-degree (Italian and French) agreements.
