The selection procedure is made up of two phases:

PHASE 1 – min. 400 - max 1600 points

  • If you are an Italian, EU or non-EU candidate with equivalent status you are awarded up to 1600 points (min 400) according to the result you obtained in your test (TOLC-E or SAT). To find out your score, check the concordance table attached to the call for applications! If you took the TOLC-E test, please remind that it is necessary to gain a minimum score of 17/30 in the English section if you do not hold a valid B1 English certificate (among the ones indicated in the entry requirements).
  • If you are non-EU citizen residing abroad you are awarded up to 1600 point according to a proportional evaluation of your school results on the basis of the the Official High School Transcript of records submitted by candidates or by the result you obtained in your SAT test .

At the end of the first phase, a final ranking will be published for each quota. The best candidates for each quota (three times the positions available) for each selection procedure will be admitted to the second selection phase.

PHASE 2: oral interview in English - up to 1600 points (minimum 400, max 1600 - minimum score for eligibility: 1000)

During the interview, the Examining Board will evaluate candidates’ logical reasoning, flexibility, relational skills and the English language requirements (the assessment of English language proficiency at B1 level will not incur any additional score during the oral interview).

Candidates who obtain a score of 1000/1600 or more will be considered eligible and they will be included in the final ranking list. Candidates failing to obtain the minimum score of 1000/1600 during the interview will not be able to enroll in the curriculum ‘Management’ of the first cycle Degree Programme in Economics and Business.

FINAL RESULTS

Assessment results will be expressed as a sum of the points obtained in the first and second phase (max 3200 points).

Where candidates receive the same score, priority will be given to the younger candidate.

 The final ranking will ONLY be officially notified on Studenti Online (www.studenti.unibo.it)

WHAT TO DO AFTER APPLYING

After completing your application, please remind that you have to take the following steps according to the deadlines established in the call for application:

  • Check if you are admitted to the second phase of the selection procedure (interview);
  • If you are admitted to the interview, check when it is scheduled and if you need to change your scheduled interview sessions or if you require a skype interview (justified cases only) contact immediately the International Office at didatticaforli.em.international@unibo.it.
  • Take the interview in the scheduled session
  • Check the final ranking to verify if you are admitted, eligible or not eligible to enrol in the degree course:
    • If you are admitted it means that you are able to enrol in the degree course following the procedures and deadlines indicated in the call for application. Please note that if you do not complete your enrolment by the established deadline, you will automatically lose your right to enrol in the degree programme.
    • If you are eligible, it means that you meet the requirements to enrol but you have ranked after the last available position. Anyway, please note that some selections include a clearing procedure you can participate in by declaring your interest in the procedure: if some of the admitted students do not complete their enrolment, their positions will be made available for those candidates deemed eligible (according to the ranking) so you could enrol.  If you are eligible and you would like to participate in the clearing procedure, please remind that you have to declare your interest to enter the clearing procedure according to the deadlines established in the call for application otherwise you will be excluded from any subsequent phase of the process. Then you have to check the number of available positions and the final ranking for the clearing procedure. If you are admitted, you will be able to enrol according to the deadlines and procedures established in the call for applications. Please also note that in some cases, two clearing procedures may be activated.
