Tuition fees (new tuition fee calculation system):

The University of Bologna has recently implemented a new tuition fee calculation system  based on students' ISEE (the official certificate attesting the family annual income).

To enrol in any degree course, students are required to pay the first instalment of tuition fees (157,64 €).

Then the second instalment will be calculated proportionally to the students' ISEE. If the family annual income does not exceed 23.000 euros, students may benefit of a total exemption (but they will still have to pay for the first instalment of 157,64 €).

If the family annual income exceeds 23.000€, the tuition fees will be proportionally calculated according to the ISEE certificate. The maximum amount of tuition fees for a.y. 2017/18 with no exemption is 1644 euros/year (+ first instalment of 157,64 €).

To receive this benefit, students need to submit their request  following the guided procedure on Studenti Online by the 15/12/2017. Please note that the release of the ISEE certificate may take long time to be processed, so it is advisable to start the procedures in advance,

Check the UNIBO official page and find out how to calculate your ISEE here (this page will be soon available in English): http://www.unibo.it/it/didattica/iscrizioni-trasferimenti-e-laurea/tasse-e-contributi/tasse-e-contributi-a-a-2017-18/come-presentare-i-dati-per-la-no-tax-area-o-il-contributo-in-base-allisee

The final amount of due tuition fees will be calculated according to the ISEE submitted and must be paid:

- in two instalments – by the 22/02/2018 and by the 31/05/2018 – for fees exceeding 500 euros

- in one single instalment – by the 22/02/2018 – for fees lower than 500 euros
