Evaluation procedure

The selection procedure is made up of two phases:

PHASE 1 – min. 400 - max 1600 points

  • If you are an Italian, EU or non-EU candidate with equivalent status (first and second eventual selection) you are awarded up to 1600 points (min 400) according to the result you obtained in your test (TOLC-E or SAT). To find out your score, check the concordance table attached to the call for applications! If you took the TOLC-E test, please remind that it is necessary to gain a minimum score of 17/30 in the English section if you do not hold a valid B1 English certificate among the ones indicated in the entry requirements.
  • If you are non-EU candidate resident abroad you are awarded up to 1600 point according to a proportional evaluation of your school results on the basis of the the Official High School Transcript of records submitted by candidates.

At the end of the first phase, a final ranking will be published for each quota. The best candidates for each quota (three times the positions available) for each selection procedure will be admitted to the second selection phase.

 

PHASE 2: oral interview in English - up to 1600 points (minimum 400, max 1600 - minimum score for eligibility: 1000)

During the interview, the Examining Board will evaluate candidates’ logical reasoning, flexibility, relational skills and the English language requirements (the assessment of English language proficiency at B1 level will not incur any additional score during the oral interview).

Candidates who obtain a score of 1000/1600 or more will be considered eligible and they will be included in the final ranking list. Candidates failing to obtain the minimum score of 1000/1600 during the interview will not be able to enroll in the curriculum ‘Management’ of the first cycle Degree Programme in Economics and Business.

FINAL RESULTS

Assessment results will be expressed as a sum of the points obtained in the first and second phase (max 3200 points). Candidates who obtained at least 1000/1600 in the second phase and who respect will be considered eligible and will be listed in the final ranking of merit.

Where candidates receive the same score, priority will be given to the younger candidate.
