As of the scholastic year 1998/9, following suppression of the ordinary three-year and four-year degree programmes for teacher schools and teacher institutes, and as of the 2008/09 academic year, the Degree in Science of Primary Education represents the only diploma allowing admission to competitions, providing certifying value for teaching in infant and primary school.The degree programme project has been submitted to selected external stakeholders in order to receive their opinions and feedbacks on the learning outcomes and the professional profiles.
