Starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, it is possible to access materials developed as part of the quality management process for the Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering degree programs at the Forlì campus, offered by the Department of Industrial Engineering (DIN).
The aim is to support students in becoming familiar with typical methods and acquisition systems, as well as sensors of greatest relevance for industrial engineering. The material includes documents describing the fundamentals of signal theory, the main platforms for their acquisition, and the most common sensors used in industrial engineering applications, integrating tools already known: MATLAB, SIMULINK, PYTHON, and ARDUINO.
The materials consist of introductory guides, numerous references to freely accessible online resources, practical examples, and instructions on how to create typical configurations for low-cost acquisition systems (ARDUINO) suited for common technical applications. All materials, available in English in the ATTACHMENTS section, will assist students in configuring the system and the necessary tools.
