The Double Degree programme

The Double Degree Programme with KTH- Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, is an integrated study programme which provides for the exchange of applicant students for a period of one academic year, at the end of which both Universities will grant a degree, to be the equivalent of a 2nd cycle Degree: “Laurea Magistrale in Aerospace Engineering” of the University of Bologna, and " Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering" of KTH.

Eligibility

students enrolled in our master's degree in Aerospace Engineering- University of Bologna are selected in the current academic year 2023/2024 for one-year mobility to KTH during the academic year 2024/2025. Applicants will be evaluated through the Erasmus+ programme by an appropriate commission integrated with a member of the partner university.

Students must be regularly enrolled on the Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering, have an adequate knowledge of the English language of at least B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or one of its recognised equivalents) and must be entitled of a valid visa or residence permit.

Students are selected and admitted to the Programme based on their academic results, prerequisite requirements, motivation and language skills. The students must meet the admission criteria of the degree programmes of both institutions.

Mobility 

The standard study path is one academic year (60-65 ECTS) at KTH as described in the correspondence table annexed to the agreement, including the final thesis. The amount of credits earned at UNIBO and KTH must sum up to at least 120 ECTS.

Application Submission and Deadlines

The deadline for submitting the application through the Erasmus+ programme will be defined in the Erasmus+ call for applications 2024/2025.  There will also be a compulsory interview conducted in English on February 16th 2024.

PLEASE NOTE: students interested in the Dual Degree programme ​will benefit from financial aid provided by the Erasmus+ mobility programme 2024/025.
