Zonta is an international organization that takes care of improving women conditions worldwide encouraging their participation in those fields where women are still underrepresented nowadays, such as science, technology and engineering, the so-called STEM subjects.
Students will have the possibility to discover the opportunities offered by the association. In particular the representatives of the organization will introduce the Amelia Earhart Scholarship, which is reserved to aerospace engineering women students.
During the conference the AE Fellows Daniela Pedretti and Maria Vittoria Salvetti will also reward our PhD Student Lucia Mascotelli, winner of the past edition of the scholarship.
The University of Bologna will be represented by prof. Benedetta Siboni, chair of the Guarantee Committee for Equal Opportunities, Employee wellbeing and non-discrimination at work.
