Degree Programme Quality Assurance System

Quality Assurance Committee 

The Course Quality Assurance Committee is responsible for supporting the Course Coordinator in overseeing quality assurance procedures and promoting a culture of quality.

To this end, the Quality Assurance Management Committee is tasked with:

  • verifying the implementation of improvement actions approved annually by the Course Council in the review report;

  • monitoring students' academic progress, their feedback on educational activities, their satisfaction at the end of their studies, and the employment status of graduates;

  • sharing the results of the monitoring activities with the Course Council.

The University has established that the Course Quality Assurance Management Committee must include the Coordinator, assisted by other members of the Course Council, including student representatives:

This committee evaluates:

  • eligibility for admission to the Master Histoire et Civilisations Comparées, spécialité Ville, Architecture, Patrimoine at Université Paris Diderot for students enrolled in the Master's Degree in Archaeology and Cultures of the Ancient World;

  • eligibility for admission to the Master's Degree in Archaeology and Cultures of the Ancient World at the University of Bologna for students enrolled in the Master Histoire et Civilisations Comparées, spécialité Ville, Architecture, Patrimoine at Université Paris Diderot.

Joint Committee of the School of Arts, Humanities, and Cultural Heritage

The Faculty-student Joint Committee, to the extent of its responsibilities, examines issues encountered with the learning path and the experience of students, and draws them to the attention of the University bodies.

The Joint Committee:

  • monitors, using specific parameters, the programme catalogue and the quality of education and student services;
  • expresses opinions on the creation, activation, amendment and deletion of activities from the programme catalogue;
  • makes proposals to the School Board on education matters and on the allocation of financial resources in accordance with the University Statute;
  • prepares an annual report containing observations on the performance of the degree programme and its review activities.
