English B2 exam for AAEE applicants
Prospective applicants to one of the MUNER’s Master's degrees must have an English B2 competence (upper-intermediate level - CEFR Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), according to the call for applications for each degree programme.
Prospective applicants to one of the MUNER’s degree programmes (AAEE - Advanced Automotive Electronic Engineering UNIBO and AAE Advanced Automotive Engineering UNIMORE) must have an English B2 competence (upper-intermediate level - CEFR Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), according to the call for applications for each degree programme.
The University of Bologna Language Center (CLA) offers the possibility to sit a B2 English language test specifically for MUNER’s applicants who do not hold an English language certificate.
This language test will be offered exclusively on Thursday 26 th of July 2018 (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE NEW DATE) at CLA Laboratories (Via Filippo Re 10, Bologna – 10 a.m.) In order to sit this exam all the applicants are required to:
- register on Studenti Online platform and get the UNIBO credentials;
- send an email with their UNIBO e-mail address name.surname@studio.unibo.it to the following e-mail address aaee.engineering@unibo.it by Wednesday 18th of July 2018.

The test aims at assessing your English proficiency and you can do an on line simulation (choose “Inglese” and “B2”) to prepare for it.
The test will be fully computer-based and broken down into three sections:
- Writing (35 minutes): 2 texts (such as journalistic articles, scientific descriptions) to be completed by filling in the gaps (4 possible answers for each gap);
- Reading (30 minutes): 2 texts to be read with questions about them to be answered (4 possible answers for each question);
- Listening (40 minutes): 2 talks to be listened with questions about them to be answered (4 possible answers for each question);

Cambridge Grammar for IELTS (with answers/audio), D. Hopkins e P. Cullen (2007 or later ed, CUP).
