For your safety in study and research areas
These are occupational health and safety training courses required by Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008. The training is compulsory and consists of:
All students who during their university career carry out internships, prepare their final dissertation, or participate in activities in any sort of laboratory.
After matriculation, you will be provided all the information required to take part in the training.

To request recognition, verify validity, and - if applicable - obtain exoneration from an equivalent training module, please send your certificate to the address provided in the Contacts section.
Specific Training (Module 3) is required for students who, during their studies, intend to carry out internships, research or any teaching activity in laboratories with specific risks (e.g LIB, ICM, …).
- Method: in classroom
- Duration: 4 hours
- Dates and times: find below the confirmed editions.
- Language: Italian, except for the 12/02/24 edition which is delivered in English.
- Attendance: registration is mandatory according to the deadlines (to be published).
- Final assessment test: multiple choice quiz.
- Certification: a certificate is awarded upon attendance of at least 90% of the scheduled hours and passing the final test with at least 80% of correct answers. Certificates can be downloaded by logging into Studenti Online and going to the “Certificates and Self-certifications” page. Those who fail the test will have to repeat Module 3.
- Validity: 5 years.
Specific Training – Medium Risk (module 3) is mandatory for all the students attending the following Degree Programmes:

In order to register to the Specific Training – Medium Risk (module 3) module, it is required to:

From one’s own personal page on Studenti Online, click on the box “Bookings” to open the list of available courses.
Click on the title of the relevant teaching activity and pick one of the available dates; then, click on “Book”.
