Curricular Internship and Final Examination Internship

The curricular internship and the final examination internship:

  • are independent activities;
  • may be carried out consecutively, with the final thesis preparation following the curricular internship;
  • may take place in consecutive periods but must not overlap;
  • may be carried out on the same topic;
  • require the submission of two separate applications (one for the curricular internship and one for the final thesis preparation);
  • internship activities must be consistent with the educational objectives of the degree programme.

All students intending to undertake an internship are required to complete the mandatory training on health and safety.
Before submitting an internship application, students must identify and contact a faculty member in the relevant field in which they wish to carry out the internship. The faculty member, acting as the academic supervisor, will oversee the internship throughout its duration, even if the activity is carried out at external institutions.
Contacts with companies are managed by the Internship Office, which can be contacted for information and clarification.

Applications for the curricular internship and/or the the final examination internship must be submitted at least 20 days prior to the start of the activity, in order to allow sufficient time for the approval process to be completed.

To activate the curricular internship and/or the the final examination internship, students must follow all the instructions provided in the “Administrative Procedure” section.
