Call for applications

ADMISSIONS

In order to enroll on the Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, it is firstly needed to send off an online application in order to be admitted.

Admissions to 2023/2024 are now available, according to the schedule detailed on the table down below, the brand-new "Call applications" being available on the box above.

The first intake is for non-EU students only, whereas the following ones are for non-EU and EU Applicants alike.

Applicants may send off their application according to the admission intakes detailed down below,  feedback to be available in a three weeks' time after each deadline. Please refer to the "Call for admissions" for further information on the admissions' schedule.

Further intakes shall be available later on June 2023, this webpage to be updated accordingly.

Please be aware two stand-alone admission procedures will be made available, that is:

  • International track EBIT (delivered in English)
  • Italian track Ingegneria elettronica (delivered in Italian)

Students are consequently required to pay attention when sending off their online application in order to choose the relevant track EBIT.

English Proficiency

In order to be admitted, Applicants must demonstrate an English Language Proficiency no lower than B2 level (according to CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) by producing an International Language Certification such as:

  • IELTS - International English Testing System (5.5-6.0-6.5);
  • IELTS indicator – online test (5.0-6.0-6.5);
  • TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language (PBT 507-557; CBT 180-217; IBT 80-99);
  • TOEFL – IBT special home edition (80-90)
  • Trinity College of London (ISE II);
  • Cambridge First Certificate of English.

Furthermore, the English proficiency is deemed to be fulfilled by those having obtained a University degree fully delivered English with a minimum length of 2 academic years (120 ECTS) in one EU/EEA country as well as in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, the United States, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. English as a medium of instruction (MOI) should be clearly written down on the transcript of academic records.

Exams syllabus and academic title

The exams syllabus - which is an optional document according to the "Call for applications" - is recommended for this degree.

The exams syllabus is a brief description of the contents of the main exams given throughout the Applicant's bachelor degree. if the bachelor university does not provide such a document, the Applicant may write it down on their own (for instance by using the information on the university's website).

When sending off your application, you will be able to complete the field "Courses taken abroad – foreign academic title". It must be noted there is no need to enter each exams taken, which are already set forth on the transcript of records: just enter the name of your Bachelor degree and your CGPA as well as the minumum and maximum CGPA according to the education system you graduated from.

Embassy's pre-enrolment

If you are a non-EU citizen resident abroad, read carefully the specific information prepared for you as you are required to go through the embassy's pre-enrollment procedure on the the Universitaly portal.

Relevant deadlines of the aforementioned pre-enrollment procedure will be published later on into 2023. It is worth poiting out the pre-admission letter is not necessary anymore and therefore not to be sent off to admitted applicants.

Tuition Fee Amounts

Tuition fees are calculated based on the 2022 ISEE value with special subsidies in relation to the right to higher education. First year students with an ISEE of up to €24,500 benefit from full exemption. Above this limit, tuition fees are calculated progressively.

The ISEE value must be submitted, even if you have not enrolled in the Degree Programme, by 2 November 2022, at 6:00pm (or by 15 November 2022, at 6:00pm, paying a €100 penalty) accessing ER-GO Online Services, alternatively you will have to pay the full amount.

If you are an international student, verify how your tuition fees will be calculated according to your country of origin and the country where your family has income and assets.

Matriculation

After you have checked that all the admission requirements have been met, you can enrol on  Studenti Online:

  1. fill in the application for matriculation with the required information and attach a passport photo in digital format;
  2. pay the first instalment of your tuition fees;
  3. follow the instructions to complete the procedure which you will find on Studenti Online according to your profile.
