Shortening of the degree programme
You can apply for career shortening if you already have a previous university career (you have already obtained a degree or you have obtained credits but have not completed your studies due to loss or student status or withdrawal, you have attended and passed single course units, you have taken examinations abroad).

Criteria for recognition of credits from programme changes/transfers - completed past careers (e.g. withdrawal, loss of student status, graduation, single course units)
The criteria for the recognition of credits acquired in degree programmes of the same or different class are defined in the Degree Programme Regulations.
For First-Cycle/Three-Year Degree Programmes:
A student enrolling with OFA (Additional Learning Requirements) may only be admitted, regardless of the number of credits recognised, to the first year of the programme.
If the student has no OFAs, with the recognition of at least 30 credits they are admitted directly to the second year of the programme, and with the recognition of at least 100 credits to the third year.
For Second-Cycle/Master's Degree Programmes:
Credits used to meet the curricular requirements for admission to the degree programme, may not subsequently be used to obtain recognition for career shortening purposes.
Recognition of 36 credits will lead to direct admission to the second year of the programme.
For all degree programmes:
Examinations recognised following a programme change /transfer are used to calculate the average degree score; examinations recognised from completed careers (e.g. withdrawal, loss of student status, graduation, individual course units) are not used to calculate the average score, with the exception of examinations previously taken as individual learning activities, if they are course units delivered under the same degree programme to which the student is enrolled and for which recognition has been requested.
