As part of the activities of the PRIN project "From legal pluralism to the intercultural State. Personal statutes, derogations from the common law and mandatory limits in the European legal area" and because of a common sensitivity to the topics proposed, professors Silvia Bagni, Anna Sirinian and Paolo Ognibene organized a video contest entitled "Across the borders". The aim of the initiative is to offer an opportunity of encounter and dialogue for all those who live on opposite sides of a border.
The call is addressed to all students enrolled in Italian Universities, regardless of their citizenship. Each participant, in group or individually, will have to make a video lasting up to 5 minutes, in the preferred expressive form: video-art, documentary, personal portrait, fiction, etc.
The video can be silent, musical, or with dialogues in Italian, English or other languages with English subtitles.
The works must be sent to the email address silvia.bagni@unibo.it, by August 30, 2022, together with the participation form downloadable from the Contest’s website: https://site.unibo.it/dal-pluralismo-giuridico-allo-stato-interculturale/en/third-sector.
The organizing committee will also offer five prizes of participation worth 300 euros each for the works that have most represented the objective of the contest.
The award ceremony will take place in the Ravenna campus, during an event organized between September and November 2022, dedicated to "Future scenarios of pacification of the Caucasian region", with the presence of the following speakers: Asbed Kotchikian (online), Marco Puleri, Simone Zoppellaro and Aldo Ferrari (in attendance)".
