Be awarded an internship at a relevant organisation for your dissertation on feminist and gender policies and practices in social, cultural, political, economic and environmental fields.

Applications are now open for the third edition of the Bianca Pomeranzi Award. The call is open to individuals of any nationality who have successfully completed a Master's Degree at an Italian university in Development Cooperation Sciences (LM81), International Relations (LM52), Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology (LM1), or the Honours Programme Talenti e Territori (TALETE), with a thesis focused on feminist and gender policies and practices in the political, social, cultural, environmental, or economic fields.

Eligible candidates are those who held their thesis dissertation between April 1st 2025 and March 31rd 2026. Theses may be submitted either in Italian or in English.

Candidates who meet the requirements and wish to apply should fill out their application form (available of Google Drive) at this link, by no later than April 5th 2026. The prize consists in an internship at Oxfam Italy.

The Bianca Pomeranzi Award Promoting Committee is composed by Elena Zambelli and by Maria Rosa Cutrufelli, who conceived the initiative, together with AIDOS, Casa Internazionale delle Donne, the Alma Sabatini International Documentation Centre, Differenza Donna, the Department of Political Science at Roma Tre University / PhD Programme in Political Science – Gender Studies curriculum, the European Women’s Management Development Network – Rome Delegation, Fondazione RUT, and Oxfam Italy. The initiative is also supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and UNFPA. The Scientific Committee includes more than twenty women working in the fields of international cooperation, academia, civil society, culture, politics, and entrepreneurship.
