Editors of the "Annual review of the European Union in 2023" Prof. Elena Baracani, Prof. Gianfranco Baldini and Prof. Sorina Cristina Soare (Journal of Common Market Studies, 2024) will present the publication in an event that will take place in Aula Ruffilli, Palazzo hercolani (Department of Political and Social Sciences, Bologna). The debate will focus on the main developments that characterized EU politics and foreign policy in 2023, and will use the prospects for the new Parliament and Commission as additional lenses to interpret the events descibed in the Review. The following authors, who contributed to the publication, will participate (in presence or remotely): Alina Mungiu-Pippidi, Henriette Mueller, Amelia Hadfield and Mustafa Demir, Sandrino Smeets and Derek Beach, Pierre Bocquillon, Helena Carrapico and Benjamin Farrand, Sarah Wolff, Tim Haughton, Andrea Pareschi.
