As part of the 16th edition of the Festival of Diplomacy, which will take place in Rome from October 14 to 24, 2025, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation will host a session dedicated to students from several Italian universities to inform them about how to access a professional career in the field of international cooperation.
The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) was established through the reform of cooperation (Law No. 125/2014), with the task of implementing development cooperation policies designed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). Cooperation is, in fact, an integral and qualifying part of Italian foreign policy.
Considering the importance of the topic, AICS and the Festival of Diplomacy intend to involve universities and students of cooperation and related subjects in this edition.
The event will take place on October 21 and will be held in a hybrid format: in the morning, the Agency will open its doors to several students from the main Roman universities specializing in cooperation, while all the universities in the Crui and Cucs networks will be connected remotely; the afternoon session, on the other hand, will be held in person only, as it will focus on the reading and analysis of one or more development cooperation projects.
