The study plan is the list of exams required to complete your degree. Some exams are mandatory, while others are elective.
The submission of the study plan for the 2026/27 academic year will only be possible during the following periods:
First submission period (for all Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes)
5 October 2026 – 19 November 2026
Second submission period (for first-year students enrolled in Master's degree programmes only)
11 January 2027 – 22 January 2027
Third submission period (for all Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes)
1 February 2027 – 19 March 2027
Only students who are properly enrolled in the 2026/27 academic year may submit a study plan.
The study plan must be completed according to the course structure diagram applicable to the academic year in which you first enrolled.
ONLINE SUBMISSION
The following categories of students must submit their study plan online:
- Regularly enrolled students (within the regular duration of the programme)
The online study plan must be completed to add elective courses to your study programme, choose a curriculum, and modify the choices made in previous academic years.
The service is available through “Studenti On Line” by logging in with your university credentials.
Approval of study plans
The study plan will be automatically approved, without any assessment, if the student selects elective courses that are considered in line with the Degree Programme Board, i.e. all those included in their study programme.
SUBMISSION USING A PAPER FORM
Students who do not fall into any of the categories listed in the previous section, as well as those enrolled as part-time, will not be able to use the online service but must use the designated form, which can be downloaded from the “Attachments” box on the side.
Students who are enrolled as fuoricorso (beyond the regular duration of the programme), regardless of the number of years they are behind, may submit their study plan exclusively via a paper form.
Note: Incomplete forms will not be considered. Students are therefore urged to fill them out very carefully.
Once completed, the forms must be sent via institutional email to the following address: didatticahercolani.pianidistudio@unibo.it
Forms may not be submitted in person.
Please note: Students must verify that any substitutions or course selections are consistent with the most recent study plan submitted in previous academic years, if applicable.
INCLUDING ACTIVITIES RELATED TO RESTRICTED-ENROLLMENT COURSES INTO THE PLAN
Students who intend to include an educational activity from a restricted-access program, that is not included among those already listed by the program in which they are enrolled (viewable in web plans) , must submit a paper form. They must also obtain prior authorization from the restricted-access program to which the educational activity pertains and attach it to the application.
GRADUATING STUDENTS
Students intending to graduate by the 2025/26 academic year, therefore by the March 2027 graduation session, cannot submit a study plan or change previously chosen courses.
STUDENTS SIMULTANEOUSLY ENROLLED IN A BACHELOR'S OR MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAM
Students simultaneously enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program must contact the Student Office before submitting their study plan online.
To verify the requirement of a two-thirds difference in educational activities, when submitting your study plan, you must complete your study plan for the entire course of study, agreeing not to modify it during the year. Upon the annual renewal of your declaration of simultaneous enrollment, you may submit a different study plan, which will be re-verified.
Once the requirements have been verified by the administration offices, your second enrollment will be active. For information, contact the Student Office of the second program.
