Operational guidelines
Second-year students who are planning to take advantage of research opportunities abroad for the preparation of their thesis (either through the different mobility programmes available at the University of Bologna or through participation in calls for thesis abroad offered by the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures) or who want to carry out an internship abroad or in Italy for the preparation of the thesis, must necessarily fill in the study plan in group 04 - Final Examination using specific codes according to their condition.
It is important to know that you can ask the Student Adminsitration Office at any time to change the way you prepare your thesis by sending an e-mail to segscform-lingue@unibo.it with your request for a change.
This is the only change to the study plan that the Student Administration Office agrees to do manually in either direction, either by opting for the unbundling ("spacchettamento") of thesis CFUs (from 24 CFU to 12 + 12 CFU), or by restoring the 24 CFU option in the event that the candidate for some reason may be unable to travel abroad for the preparation of the thesis
