Assessment ofpersonal competencies and skills
Admission to the 2nd-cycledegree programme requires candidates to pass an assessment of personalcompetencies and skills that will be held according to the methods defined inthe degree programme teaching regulations.
English language skills are alsorequired to CEFR level B2.
Admission to the programme issubject to the possession of Italian language skills to at least CEFR level B2.Foreign students who do not meet this requirement must include learningactivities in their study plan aimed at achieving the required level

List of accepted English Language Certificates in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
Admission to the programme is subject to:
a) possession of a DEGREE QUALIFICATION, i.e., a three-year university degree, diploma or another suitable qualification. Candidates who have not yet graduated may also apply. They can be admitted to the degree programme on the condition that they obtain their undergraduate degree by and no later than 30 December 2024.
b) satisfaction of CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS:
To be admitted it is necessary to hold an undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplinary areas:
-Law/legal services (L-14 or LMG/01)
-Administration and organisation science (L-16)
-Economics and business administration (L-18 or L-33)
-Political science and international relations (L-36)
-Social sciences for cooperation, development and peace (L-37)
-Statistics (L-41).
Alternatively, to be admitted it is necessary to have achieved at least 42 ECTS in some specific scientific disciplinary areas (listed in the admission notice).
For candidates holding an educational qualification obtained abroad, the Admission Board will assess the congruence of their former education with the Programme.
c) satisfaction of LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS : knowledge of English to at least B2 level. See table on page 8 of the Admission Notice 2024/25 for information on how to certify your language skills.
d) assessment of the candidate's PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The Admission Board will assess candidates' personal knowledge and skills according to the following criteria:
Only students who reach a minimum of 60/100 points will be considered as holding a sufficient personal qualification.
Candidates who are not admitted in one of the intakes because they did not achieve the minimum score of 60/100 in the assessment of personal preparation may not reapply for admission in a subsequent intake.

Good knowledge of the English language (at least level B2 of the QCER) is one of the entry requirements of the Degree programme and it has to be duly certified as advertised in the Admission Notice.
The University of Bologna gives LEGo applicants who do not hold a valid language certificate the opportunity to test their English Proficiency from home with remote monitoring.
The test sessions for the LEGo applicants will be held in the following dates:

VERY IMPORTANT: Remember to register for one of the test dates before applying to the intake period you are interested in. You must have the certificate before submitting your application.
Each student may take the test only once. Only those students who go into "Time out" and thus do not obtain any level will be allowed to take the test again
There will be no further sessions, so please make sure to register for the test in time.
If you have already booked an OOPT test within the application process for another Degree Programme at the University of Bologna, you DO NOT have to sit another test for LEGo.
When you submit your application for LEGo, please remember to upload the FORM B - OOPT test where you have to specify the date on which you took the test.
Tuition fees are calculated based on the 2024 ISEE value with special subsidies in relation to the right to higher education. First year students with an ISEE of less than or equal to € 27,000. Above this limit, tuition fees are calculated progressively.
The ISEE value must be submitted, even if you have not enrolled in the Degree Programme, by 30 October 2024, at 6:00pm (or by 15 November 2024, at 6:00pm, paying a 100 € penalty) accessing ER-GO Online Services, alternatively you will have to pay the full amount.
