Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT)

English language skills to at least Common European Framework (CEFR) level B2 are a mandatory requirement to be admitted to the Programme.

The English language requirement may be satisfied through the Online Oxford Placement Test (OOPT).

REGISTRATION

To register you must:

• Log in on to www.studenti.unibo.it, using your SPID username and password. International students who do not have an identity document issued in Italy may log on with their University username and password, which can be obtained by going to www.studenti.unibo.it and clicking on 'Register' and then on 'International students registration'
• Send an email with your UNIBO credentials and your chosen test date to the Programme Coordinator (see contact details in the 'Contacts' box on this page)

TEST SPECIFICATION

After the registration deadline, you will receive an email by CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo, University Language Centre) with information to sit the test. Please note that this email will be sent to your institutional UNIBO mailbox (name.surname@studio.unibo.it); remember to check it on a regular basis.

Tests are carried out online via Zoom; you may refer to the 'OOPT slides' file attached to this page for further information.

Please remember that the result of the OOPT test must be attached to the application form together with the other documents required in the Admission Notice.
