Overview

The programme provides high levels of theoretical knowledge, technological and experimental expertise to design, conduct and manage research and development activities in biotechnologies applied to health, for the design, characterization, production, analysis and formulation of innovative and biotechnological drugs, vaccines, diagnostic devices.

What will you study?

You will study molecular, cellular and functional complexity of biological systems, advanced methods in genomic, proteomic and bioinformatic analysis, processes for the design and characterization of bioactive molecules, industrial processes for the development, analysis and formulation of biotech products. You can also gain practical skills attending labs.

Experiences abroad

The programme gives ample opportunities for abroad experiences, in particular it promotes internship abroad for the preparation of the final examination. Internship abroad are arranged based on your scientific interest, following agreements with qualified laboratories and under close guidance of faculty members.
