Study grant to go abroad and work on your dissertation.
You can apply if you are UniBO student, it is essential that you speak English and/or the language of the country you’d like to visit.
Within the framework of the project, you will be required to carry out research activities related to your work abroad for the purpose of writing your thesis. To apply for the call, you must submit a detailed project proposal together with all the documentation required by the Call, duly completed and signed.
The departure may take place no earlier than 30 days after the application deadline. The duration of the mobility abroad must be a minimum of two months and a maximum of six months.
The scholarship amount is intended as a partial financial contribution toward the expenses of the stay abroad. Scholarships for thesis research abroad are not compatible with other EU-funded grants if they cover the same mobility period.
At the end of your stay, you will be required to upload the Final Report (Relazione Finale) to AlmaRM and submit the documentation certifying the actual completion of the activities, in accordance with the procedures established by the Call.
The Call and the related deadlines will be reported through the NOTICE BOARD on the website of each Degree Programme.
The Calls for Application are published on the website Borse di studio e altri bandi per mobilità internazionale two times a year. Each of the calls will be open for 30 days.

No. The activities "Internship Abroad for Preparation of the Final Examination" and "Preparation for the Final Examination Abroad" are alternative ways of recognising the same CFU related to thesis preparation. These credits can only be recognised once in your study plan.
PLEASE NOTE: You may apply for both calls. However, if you are a winner in both calls, you will have to choose only one of the two mobility programmes through which to carry out your mobility.
