Congratulations to Diego Quintero, S.Co.Re. former student and currently Ph.D. candidate in Chemistry at the “G. Ciamician” Chemistry department, whose thesis has been awarded with the Paul Coremans prize!
Diego got graduated in Science for the Conservation-Restoration of Culturale Heritage in October 2017 with a thesis concerning the evaluation of novel spectroscopic techniques for the analysis of synthetic dyes entitled “Evaluation of a novel AgI@Au TLC/SERS/micro-FTIR-ATR system for the identification of synthetic dyes in Cultural Heritage”.
His thesis has been awarded with the Paul Coremans prize in the category of Best master degree thesis in conservation of cultural heritage, by the Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia from Mexico.
