Extension of the exam session and final examination a.y. 2020/21

Due to the Covid-19 emergency, the exam session and final examination deadline for the a.y. 2020/21 has been extended to 15/6/2022 (DL 24.12.2021 n. 221 art. 16 comma 2 bis, conv. dalla L. 18 febbraio 2022, n. 11).

Who is eligible for extension

If you are a student enrolled in the 2020/2021 a.y. either regularly, “fuori corso” (past envisaged completion time for the degree course) or as a repeating student, you are only eligible for extension if your study plan was complete and you fulfilled all attendance requirements by the end of the 2020/2021 a.y.

For Two year Master degrees – if you are enrolled in the 2020/2021 a.y. in the 2nd year either regularly, “fuori corso” (past envisaged completion time for the degree course) or as a repeating student and if, by the end of the year, you included in your study plan all the learning activities required by your degree programme to be able to take the exams and graduate.

Remember that the deadline for the requirements is the 22nd of April.

Who is not eligible for extension

You are not eligible for extension if:

·         you failed to meet attendance requirements by the end of the 2020/2021 a.y;

·         you made changes to your study plan in the 2021/2022 a.y. and took exams related to that study plan;

·         you did not have a complete study plan, so in the 2021/2022 a.y. you had to make changes to include exams;

- For Two year Master degrees, if you are enrolled in the 2020/2021 a.y. in the 2nd year either regularly, “fuori corso” (past envisaged completion time for the degree course) or as a repeating student, and in the 2021/2022 a.y. you made changes to your study plan to include exams because in your study plan you did not have the 120 university educational credits you needed to graduate.

- For Two year Master degrees, if you are enrolled in the 2020/2021 a.y. in the 5th or 6th year (in the five-year or six-year degree programme respectively), either regularly, “fuori corso” (past envisaged completion time for the degree course) or as a repeating student, and in the 2021/2022 a.y. you made changes to your study plan to include exams because in your study plan you did not have the university educational credits you needed to graduate.

The Committee will assess your performance using your curriculum as a reference. During the defence you may use slides and the Committee may ask you in-depth questions on methods, results and any developments of your work.
