As part of the activities of AlmaEngage, the virtual coordination structure of the University development cooperation initiatives, and in collaboration with local organizations operating in that field, the University of Bologna and GVC Italy organize a meeting, on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day, to present the opportunities of international paid voluntary service promoted by the EU through the EU Aid Volunteers initiative.
The presentation will be opened by the Vice Rector for International Relations Alessandra Scagliarini. A round table on the added value of international volunteering will follow. Some international organizations will be present with informative material (please find attached the event flyer and card).

The meeting will be held on December 5th, from 5.00 to 7.00 pm at the School of Economics and Management, Room n. 11, Piazza Scaravilli 2, Bologna (first floor).
A simultaneous interpreting service Italian-English and English/Italian will be provided.
