Preparing the study plan

Information on how to prepare and present a study plan.

WHAT IS A STUDY PLAN?

The study plan is the complete set of exams that you need to sit in order to graduate. Some exams are compulsory, while others are elective.

Electives are activated in your second year.

WHO CAN PRESENT A STUDY PLAN?

A study plan can be presented by properly enrolled students who have paid their tuition fees and, in the case of international students, who hold a valid residence permit.

Please note : after the completion of the second year, '' fuori corso '' students who are regularly enrolled for the subsequent year and have paid their fees can change their study plan but if they decide to do so, they will not be eligible for the graduation session in March ; the first graduation session available for them will be in July.

WHEN TO PRESENT YOUR STUDY PLAN

You can present and amend your study plan in two periods during the academic year.

The open windows for the 2022/2023 AY are:

1st period: 30/09/2022 - 24/11/2022

2nd period: 14/12/2022-15/02/2023

Following expiry of the deadlines, the last study plan presented will be deemed valid and no further amendments may be made.

Once the study plan has been filled in online, you will find it available on the AlmaEsami Platform.

HOW TO PRESENT YOUR STUDY PLAN

Studenti Online

The study plan can be presented via Studenti Online by enrolled students who, accessing the website using their University username and password:
- need to add optional subjects/electives  to their plan: for Wellness culture: sport, health and tourism you have to add minimum 9 CFU of optional subjects/electives

Students can also decide to add more than 9 cfu, max 24 cfu,  if they wish to attend and pass additional exams.

- need to select the typology of the final thesis:

students are  required to choose among  five options for final thesis ( see Course Structure Diagram) :

  1. Internship Abroad for Preparation of the Final Examination
  2. Internship  for Preparation of the Final Examination
  3. Preparation for the final Examination
  4. Preparation for the final Examination Abroad
  5. Final dissertation

- need to amend choices made in prior years.

After making the desired choices, remember to click on “save” so that your study plan can be presented correctly.

It is also advisable to print a copy of your completed study plan. This copy is in fact the only way to check for formal or substantive errors that might arise after uploading your study plan.

APPROVAL OF YOUR STUDY PLAN

If you select elective subjects from among those offered by the degree programme, there is no need for assessment and your plan is approved automatically and input to your career file.

On the other hand, if you want to choose exams not specifically offered by your degree programme, approval or otherwise will be decided by the Degree Programme Board.

In the second case, in order to make the request,  you have to use the hard copy form and not the online system

Moreover, elective learning activities not specifically offered by Wellness Sport and Health programme have to be undertaken in English, at least until completion to the 120 CFU mandatory for graduation
