The 2nd cycle degree programme in Wellness Sport and Health is an open access degree programme with assessment of personal competencies and skills.

The admission to the 2nd cycle degree program WELLNESS, SPORT AND HEALTH is subject to the possession of 1st cycle degree or other suitable qualification obtained abroad and acknowledged as adequate in Italy.
The admission to the 2nd cycle degree program is also subject to an assessment within the deadlines specified in the calendar for each intake, in order to check the possession of curricular requirements and to test the suitability of the personal knowledge.

2.The student must have obtained a University degree belonging to a different class than the above mentioned ones that may allow the acceptance of at least 60 CFUs (University Course Credits)in the scientific-disciplinary areas that are congruent with the educational activities understood as necessary to the class L-22 (Physical education and sport sciences) and recognized by the D.M. from March 16, 2007 that decides for the criteria of the classes of University degrees and in detail: M-EDF/01,M-EDF/02, MED/09, MED/33, BIO/9, BIO/10, BIO/16, IUS/01, IUS/09, SECS-P/07,SECS-P/08, M-PED/01, M.PED/03, M-PSI/01, M-PSI/04, SPS/07.
3. Students holding a foreign degree: (1st cycle degree/Bachelor) a suitable foreign university qualification or post-secondary qualification that may be acknowledged as adequate by the degree Admission Board.
Language requirements
Knowledge of the English language is also required and compulsory: we require an English language proficiency minimum at B2 level (level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference) .
The language requirement is to be certified according to the criteria outlined in the call for applications.

Assessment of personal preparation
The Admission board will assess the adequacy of applicants' personal preparation.
Admission to the degree program is subject to the assessment of personal competencies and skills, that will be ascertained through the evaluation of the candidate's curriculum and any other useful documents.
The examination board may, at its option, request a supplementary interview when the student's preparation requirement is not completely met; in this case, the candidate will receive a communication concerning the date of the interview. The interview will take place within the end of each intake and before the final results are published and available in the university portal Studenti online.

Timely applications are highly recommended, especially non-EU students resident abroad, because admitted applicants have to undergo pre-enrollment procedure at the Embassy or Consulate in charge for their Country.
Early application is also important for candidates applying for scholarships offered by University of Bologna.
Tuition fee
Tuition fee: for a.y. 2024/25maximum amount per year is about € 3.217,64 .

Matriculation/final enrollment
Candidates who successfully passed the entrance assessment are required to matriculate by the deadlines established by the University of Bologna (with payment of progressive additional charges, following the deadlines and procedures indicated on the UniBO website).
When admitted, for A.A. 24/25 the possibility to matriculate online by filling in the application form and paying the first instalment of tuition fees will be available starting from the end of the intake and up to the the deadlines established by the University of Bologna.

Take action well in advance to collect the necessary documents for enrolment. If you studied in a country outside the European Union, contact the Italian Embassy in your country and the relevant local offices in good time for in preparing the documents.
