LEIF Admission 2018

The admission process to LEIF is selective and there is a limited number of available places. It is therefore essential to provide accurate information on your relevant academic and professional achievements.

For the a.y.2018/2019 the number of available places is 40.

Admission Requirements

1. To be admitted to the Second Cycle Degree Programme in ​Law and Economics of Insurance and Finance, candidates should have good ​knowledge of economics and ​law.

2. Admission to the 2nd cycle degree programme is open to applicants with a diploma or a bachelor (1st cycle degree) in one of the following classes (or other suitable qualification obtained abroad):

    ex. Italian Ministerial Decree no. 270/04: L 33 Economic Sciences, L 18 Economic and Business Management Sciences, L14 Legal Services, L 36 Political Sciences and International Relations, LMG/01 Law (2nd cycle degree/Combined bachelor and master).
    Ex Ministerial Decree no. 509/99: class 28 (Economic Science), class 17 (Economic and Business Management Sciences), class 31 (Law), class 2 (Legal Services), class 15 (Political Sciences and International Relations), class 22/S (Law)
    Previous four-year degree system: Degree in: Economics and Business, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Political Sciences and equivalent.

    Candidates not holding the required degree at the date of the application, but registered for the last year of a programme leading to such a degree, can apply under the deferring condition that they will ultimately graduate by December, 27th 2018.

    3. Candidates should hold, at the date of application, an English language certification proving at least B2 - level knowledge. Only English certifications issued in the previous 3 years (i.e., after Jan, 1st 2015) are considered valid, regardless of their expiration date.

    The English Language certification is NOT required only if:
    - the candidate attended a 1st- 2nd - cycle degree in English
    - the candidate passed a B2 level English examination in his/her 's 1st or 2nd - cycle degree (clearly stated in the transcript of records or resulting from a certification released by the University in which the degree was taken).
