IMPORTANT NOTICE: ONLINE APPLICATION

In order to apply for LEIF you have to: 

1) Log in on https://studenti.unibo.it

2)Select the box "Entrance exams or entry requests"

3)Choose and tick the "Second Cycle Degree Program" line then click the "Next" button at the end of the page

4) Tick the "Economia e diritto - clamed" box and then clik on the button "next" at the bottom of the page

5)Click the "Curriculum Law and Economics for Insurance and Finance..." line and then press the "next" button at the bottom of the page

then you can proceed with the rest of the online application (check the attachment box for pictured guidelines)

 

Check of curricula and personal preparation requirements

If you have a foreign qualification read the specific information before continuing.

If you are a non-EU citizen resident abroad read the specific information prepared for you.

In addition to a check of specific curricula and personal preparation requirements, this restricted access degree programme also envisages an admission test. To enrol for the degree programme it is necessary to satisfy all the requirements, obtain a test score that is not lower than the established minimum and be ranked within the number of places available (40).

 

If you graduated from a University of Bologna degree programme you can check if you satisfy the curricula requirements by accessing Studenti online:

1.       Select “Degree with exams, dates and grades” from the “Certificates and self-certifications” section and then select “self-certifications”.

2.       Download the list of all exams sat during the previous curriculum followed, together with the related University educational credits and corresponding subject groups.

3.       Examine your University career on your own and compare your career with the access requirements for the degree programme.

4.       Access Studenti online and complete the "self-certification of access requirements” form in the Matriculation section.

If you graduated from another University, you can check if you satisfy the curricula requirements by downloading from the website of your previous University the career self-certification form, as well as the list of all exams sat during the previous curriculum followed, together with the related University educational credits and corresponding subject groups. If your University does not have an on-line self-certification form, complete the "declaration in lieu of certification" form available from Studenti online.

To check the access, knowledge and linguistic skills required, following the procedure indicated in the call for applications.

Admission Procedure

Available places

Available places are so divided:

-8 positions for Italian and EU students;

-22 positions for Non-EU students.

In order to take the admission test, you must:

1.       Log on Studenti online website, access the  Admission tests section and select the specific Degree Programme (CLAMED - Curriculum Law and Economics of International Finance).

International students lacking an Italian tax code number have to access the section “International Students Registration” and follow the instructions to create an account, password need to be changed after the first access;

2.       Upload all the required documents in .pdf format;

3.       Pay the admission test fee (€ 50) on-line or at a branch of Unicredit Banca. This sum will not by any case be refunded.

Deadlines (dd/mm/yyyy)

-          First Intake: opens on March 4th 2019, closes on April 4th 2019 at 1.00 PM;

-          Second Intake: opens on April 15th 2019, closes on May 21st 2019 at 1.00 PM;

-          Third Intake: opens on August 1st 2019, closes on September 2nd 2019 at 1.00 PM.

Required documents and Evaluation Criteria

Candidates satisfying the requirements re the class of their 1st cycle degree (see admission requirements) are admitted to a procedure aiming at evaluating their personal skills and competences. Such procedure consists of two distinct stages:

A specially appointed Board, consisting of 3 faculty members, evaluates the documents required for the application procedure. The documents assessed in this stage are the following:

1. CV with information on academic, professional and other education (Europass model)

2. Official Transcript of records (in English)
This should contain the study plan you followed in your previous university studies, with ECTS and the marks you obtained in each single learning activity.

3. Cover letter
In the letter of motivation, applicants are expected to explain why they are interested in Law, Finance and Economics in general and in the LEIF programme in particular.

4. Certificate of English proficiency (at least B2 level)
Please note that certificates must date after January 1st, 2016.

5. One or two reference letters (optional)
Reference letters must be in English and written on official university paper.
Please upload the reference letters as PDF files.

Uploaded documents can are evaluated up to 100 points.

Only candidates with a score of at least 60/100  are admitted to the final ranking list. Candidates with a lower score than 60/100 cannot be admitted to CLAMED-LEIF.

Candidates are admitted until all available places are filled.

Matriculation

After you have checked that all the admission requirements have been met, you can enrol on Studenti online:

  1. complete the application for matriculation with the required data and attach an ID photograph in digital format;
  2. pay the first instalment of tuition fees.

Next, go to the Student Administration Office with a valid ID document to collect your student card and obtain access to the University services (such as wifi, libraries, online study plans, exam registration). If you decide to go to the Student Administration Office on the day that you pay the first instalment of your tuition fees, please bring the payment receipt with you. 

If you have a previous university qualification or have completed university course units, you can apply for a shortened degree programme.

If you are a student with disabilities (with a minimum recognised degree of disability of 66%, or if you own have certification issued pursuant to Law 104/92), you are entitled to obtain exemption from tuition fees.

If you have a foreign citizenship and/or qualification, you must also hand in the following documents to the  Student Administration Office:

 Always check in the specific pages when the declaration of value, the translation or the legalization are not required!
