University Certificates

Official Degree Diploma (Degree Parchment)

A few months after graduation, you will receive your Degree Diploma (original parchment) directly at the address that you have indicated on your SOL profile under  the line"address for communication purposes". Please check such address, and edit it if needed.

If  you wish your Parchment to be sent to an address outside of Italy, about 4 months after graduation please write an email to the Registrar's Office ( from your account. In the email text you will:

  1. Insert as email object: "Pergamena / Degree Parchment";
  2. Ask the Registrar's Office to post the parchment to your non-Italian address;
  3. Indicate your (reliable) delivery address;
  4. Attach a copy of your passport;

Certificates, self certifications and Diploma Supplement:

Transcript of records (for students who haven't yet graduated), Degree certificates and  self-certification forms are available for download, in Italian and in English, in the "Certificates and Self-certifications" section of your SOL profile. Typically, degree certificates are downloable soon after a student's graduation. Certificates and transcripts may be used by students for application purposes (job/university abroad). In some cases a signature, a stamp and a duty stamp (marca da bollo) on certificates by the University might be needed: please refer to the relevant information on how to request specific certificates or signed certificates to the Registrar's Office ( at this page. If you need a duty stamp (marca da bollo) to be put on your signed certificate, you need to post the certificate request form, available on the page above, together with the duty stamp, that you may buy from any Tabacchi shop.
