Meeting People through Recolor Landscape of Art

Where art, landscape and sustainable tourism meet

What are the strategies and best practices available to Institutions for the tourist enhancement of natural and cultural heritage? How can history, art and technology interact to launch new tourism routes? How and when can we talk about sustainable tourism?

These are some of the questions to be answered during the meeting organized by the Emilia-Romagna Region in collaboration with the University of Bologna.

On May 31, 2022, in the presence of Emilia-Romagna Regional Councillor for Culture and Landscape Mauro Felicori, the milestones achieved will be made public to the Press and local institutions along with the opportunities generated by RECOLOR – Reviving and EnhanCing artwOrks and Landscapes Of the adRiatic (rediscovery and enhancement of Adriatic art and landscape heritage) European project in which the Emilia-Romagna Region is the lead partner and which involves seven other Italian and Croatian partners (Polytechnic University of Šibenik, Municipality of Campobasso, Municipality of Cividale del Friuli, GAL Montefeltro Sviluppo, University of Bologna, Municipality of Labin and City of Zadar).

Two panel discussions with the protagonists of the project are planned, and to crown the overview of best practices and propose directions related to the future of cultural, sustainable and proximity tourism, Davide Rampello, university lecturer, cultural and management consultant for national and international institutions, artistic director and curator, has been called in.

PRESS CONFERENCE

Mauro Felicori, Councillor for Culture and Landscape of the Emilia-Romagna Region will present the results of the project to the Press and will be available for any questions or requests for further information. Representatives of the municipalities and Montefeltro LAG involved in the Montefeltro Art Views pilot have also been invited. 

 

An online simultaneous translation service from Italian into English and vice versa is available through the Zoom platform. To use it, you need to log in from your smartphone to your personal Zoom account and be equipped with a mobile Internet connection and personal headphones to listen to the meeting in your desired language. Once you confirm your attendance, you will be sent the official link to the translation booth.

 

In the afternoon, a visit to the two Montecopiolo balconies included in the Montefeltro Art Views project is planned. Those who would like to participate are welcome but must provide their own transportation. Departure from the University Campus is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and return to Rimini for about 6:30 p.m.
