Rankings and Recognition

The University of Bologna is the only Italian University in the list of top 200 Universities according to the QS World University Ranking (188th position). According to the same source, the Department of Economics (the University structure offering TEaM) is in the group between the 51st and the 100th position, and second in Italy.

Coherently, according to the The Tilburg Ranking, the Department of Economics is in the 84th position in the ranking of Economics Departments worldwide.

According to CHE Excellence Rankings, the University of Bologna is listed as one of the "Excellent" instutions in Economics as well as other subjects.

Finally, and most important for tourism studies, the School of Economics and Management-Rimini campus is an affiliate member of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). TEaM (together with the bachelor degree in Tourism Economics) has been certified with the Ted.Qual certification, the most important Quality Assurance certification for tourism education worldwide.
