We are excited to have Stefano Mariani, Professor of Marine biodiversity and Head of the Mariani
Lab at the Liverpool John Moores University (UK), as scientist visiting for a few days at the
University of Bologna, Dept of Biological; Geological and Environmental Sciences (BiGeA) in
Bologna, Ravenna and Fano).
In Ravenna, Stefano will present and discuss with us his extraordinary findings on marine
environmental DNAs detected by using sponges as natural filtering capsules on Tuesday 21 of
May, 2024 at 11 AM at the Research and Teaching Unit “Environment & Sea” of the BiGeA Dept.
