Attività proposta:
Android and Linux kernel development.
Overview - As part of Datalogic LABS, you will have the opportunity to work on the newest Android based terminals designed by Datalogic for the Enterprise world. Your work will improve the workers efficiency across a number of different markets including transportation and logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and retail.
Responsibilities - The porting of the Android OS to customized hardware designed by Datalogic for the Enterprise-oriented mobile terminals. The software will consist of Linux kernel device drivers and customization to the Android framework. Responsibilities will include adding new features, such as advanced power management, wireless communication drivers, image capture sensor drivers, security and performance tuning, along with diagnosing and correcting defects for which state of the art debugging tools will be used. The position includes collaborating with engineers and partners world-wide in a multicultural environment following an agile development methodology.

Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience (years): Bachelor's degree and 2+ years or Master's degree.
Solid knowledge of C language programming, Operating Systems, Network Protocols.
Experience in C is required and Experience in C++/Java is preferred.
Experience with Linux is required and Experience with Android is preferred.
Good problem solving and strong debugging attitude.
Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Organizational skills and attention to detail is important.
Livello stipendiale: Contratto a tempo indeterminato, metalmeccanico, livello 5 super, circa 30.000 euro annui.
