Medicina e Chirurgia: Incoming exchange opportunities

Informations for prospective or selected incoming exchange students of the Medical Degree Programme.

Thank you for your interest in our Medical Degree Programme for your international exchange.

This page links to further information for prospective or selected incoming exchange students of the Medical Degree Programme.

Please note that we can only accept incoming exchange students within the framework of exisiting inter-institutional agreements (e.g. Erasmus+ Studies, Overseas). If you are unsure about your administrative position, please refer to the coordinator of international exchanges at your home University.

INFORMATION FOR INCOMING EXCHANGE STUDENTS OF THE DEGREE PROGRAM IN MEDICINA E CHIRURGIA (Ravenna).

Please read carefully the information materials, as they will guide you through most of the administrative procedures before, during, and at the end of your stay. This page will be updated during the academic year, so we advise that you check it on a regular basis.

BEFORE YOUR EXCHANGE

Check whether your home University has an agreement with us for student mobility for studies (e.g. Erasmus+ Studies, Overseas, etc.). If no agreement is in place, we regret that we cannot accept you as an exchange student;

Read the general information page for all incoming exchange students at the University of Bologna - it covers topics such as accommodation, language courses, healthcare, etc. ("Getting ready"), as well as your first days in Ravenna ("During the mobility").


Read the
Learning Agreement Guide for incoming exchange students of LMCU in Medicina e Chirurgia (Ravenna). Here you will find all the information you need for you mobility so please read it very carefully.

Some complementary materials that you may need to fill in your Learning Agreement are available in attachment:

Submit your final Learning Agreement at least two months before your expected arrival in Ravenna.

Learning Agreements must be submitted through your AlmaRM account.

Please remember to use your institutional mailbox (name.surname@studio.unibo.it) for correspondence with our offices after you complete your online pre-registration.

 

UPON ARRIVAL / DURING YOUR EXCHANGE

Check in as soon as you arrive in Ravenna (see "Durante lo scambio" > "Check in").

Please carry out these arrival procedures:

  • Medical Check: students who plan to carry out clinical rotations are required to submit the health requirements form; details will be sent to your institutional mailbox (name.surname@studio.unibo.it) at least one month before your arrival.

Check your institutional mailbox (name.surname@studio.unibo.it) for any urgent notice.

If you wish to add clinical rotations to your Learning Agreement, please remember to check the list of clinical rotations for incoming exchange students and the health requirements ("Before your exchange "section of this page and"Allegati" box on the right side of this page).

 

BEFORE LEAVING RAVENNA AT THE END OF YOUR EXCHANGE

Check that all your grades are recorded on AlmaEsami.

If any grades are missing, please contact the Professor(s) in charge to clarify any matter related to the exam itself. If the grade is missing due to technical problems, please contact us as soon as possible.

Complete the checkout procedure

("Alla fine del periodo di scambio").

You may check out of our University and return to your home country even if some of your grades are still missing - just remember to inform the International Student Desk staff about it.

Please return all the books you borrowed from the University libraries before leaving!
