International Students: Admissions and study grants for A.Y. 2014/15

If you are an international student and you wish to enrol in a First, Second or Single Cycle Degree Programme at the University of Bologna for A.Y. 2014/15, find out about financial aid opportunities, as well as all the information needed to help you choose and register for a programme, completing all the procedures in good time.

Study grants and financial aid

Unibo Action 2: Merit-based study grants of 11.000 € gross for international students. Study grants are assigned on the basis of SAT and GRE test scores. Deadline for the presentation of applications: March 2014.

Unibo Action 1: Call for application now available! Students wishing to register in International Degree Programmes can apply for exemptions of university tuition fees. The exemptions are assigned according to the criteria established in the call for applications for each Degree Programme. Deadline for the presentation of applications: April 2014.

Consult the list of Degree Programmes to find out which is the right programme for you, and check the admission procedures in the dedicated Degree Programme website. The programme catalogue will be updated for A.Y. 2014/15 in May 2014.

Warning: some Degree Programmes publish early calls for applications, starting from February 2014.

Pre-enrolment for students with non-EU citizenship

If you are a non EU citizen living outside Italy, in addition to compliance with the rules and deadlines established by the University of Bologna, you must pre-enrol at the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country. Pre-enrolment at the Embassy for A.Y. 2014-15 can be done in spring 2014.
