Spazio Giovani to Italian Cruise Day

On the 2nd of October 2015 there will be the 5th edition of Italian Cruise Day in Civitavecchia. Italian Cruise Day is created by Risposte Turismo, which works in research and consultancy in the tourism field and supervises international cruising industries.

Together with discussions and in-depth analysis, Spazio Giovani gives students other opportunities:
- one morning of meetings with firms in the Cruises industries for 50 selected students (Carriere@ICD);
- two Thesis Prizes: Laurea ICD Prize (1000 Euros) and Laurea Assoporti Prize (500 Euros)

Description of the initiatives:
CARRIERE@ICD: one morning of meetings between young people interested in professional development in this branch and firms which work in it representatives. On the 3rd of October morning 50 boys and girls, previously selected among the applicants (form here: www.italiancruiseday.it/carriere/), will have the chance to meet with managers and workers in the cruises tourism.

PREMI DI LAUREA: since 2013, Risposte Turismo on the Italian Cruise Day awards the best thesis developed on cruise tourism. Again this year there will be a prize for the students who graduated in the period 1 June 2014 – 31 May 2015. Moreover, since 2014, Assoporti, Italian ports association, has established its own prize, for the student who has developed his thesis on cruise port activities in the period June 2014 – May 2015.

The students interested shall fill in the online form here: www.italiancruiseday.it/premiodilaurea and attach the index and the abstract of the thesis. After a first selection, five students will be asked to send the whole thesis in electronic format and the winner will be chosen among them, judged by Risposte Turismo and Assoporti.  The winners will be awarded on the next Italian Cruise Day, on the 2nd of October.
