Is EPOS a degree in Economics or in Political Science?
EPOS is a Bachelor's degree program that fulfills the academic requirements of both Economics and Political Science. It has been jointly developed by the Department of Political Science and other departments, though it is administratively managed by the Department of Economics. In their final year, students choose whether to graduate with a degree in Economics or in Political Science.
What makes EPOS different from other Bachelor’s programs?
EPOS is a multidisciplinary program that combines economics, political science, law, and statistics. Students take at least two courses in each of the core areas (Law, Economics, Business, Statistics, and Political Science–Sociology) along with four courses in quantitative methods. The curriculum also includes training in data analysis, public administration, and international political economy. Annual computer lab sessions introduce students to key programming languages, such as R and Python.
How to choose between the two programs?
When enrolling in EPOS (via studenti.online ), you will be asked to choose between the two degree options. You can change your choice until October of your final year in EPOS by sending an email to the Student Administration Office at: segecosta@unibo.it.
