Middle management, sales, administrative or financial manager Tasks in a professional context: The manager role is part of the process of defining and implementing the objectives of an organisation, be it public or private, profit or non-profit. The manager acts as a leader of the company's management oriented towards the pursuit of these objectives by making decisions on the use of available economic resources and, in particular, of human resources. More specifically, managers: - develop business projects within the set strategic areas;- carry out administrative, sales, marketing and organisational activities, also in direct contact with the public;- organise management activities, human resources recruitment and assessments;- support the management in economic and financial decision-making processes;- analyse investments, financial business needs and manage the company assets;- provide support to the finance manager for financial management and management control. Competencies associated with the function: - Specific knowledge, skills and abilities in the economic field;- independent and lifelong learning abilities;- suitable soft communication and interpersonal skills, organisation, management and programming skills, in line with the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned, organising and working effectively with all the stakeholders (colleagues, other professionals, public and/or private customers). More specifically, they: - manage relations in terms of organisation, governance and management among several private and public stakeholders, in the field of new business activities;- assess and analyse business initiatives, identifying their financial needs and the relationships with the capital market. Auditor/Expert accountant (after passing the exam for admission to the national Professional Register) Role in a professional context: Auditors are professionals working in the auditing and legal control of accounts: - they ensure the legal control of accounts and accounting documents, providing technical and legal consulting;- they prepare financial reports and statements as well as periodical balance sheets and annual financial statements;- they keep accounting, tax and labour books;- they checks the reliability of financial statements, accounts and records and carry out administrative inspections and audits;- they provide accounting and administrative assistance for companies and entrepreneurs;- they carry out balance sheet and management control analyses.
